Christian Community Church supports parents in the spiritual training of their children by offering opportunities for fellowship and discipleship for young people in their teens. To participate young people should be attending high school classes (lycée).
BI-WEEKLY “BIBLE BLAST”
During school times teens aged 12 and up gather every other Friday evening from 18:00 to 21:00 at the Lighthouse for their "Bible Blast" sessions.
This year the teen group has been focusing on the first twelve chapters of the book of Genesis to discover the importance of creation, God’s plan for the family, the reality of human sin, the role of human government, etc. Each study includes a presentation of the study materials prepared by our leader, followed by small-group discussions that reinforce what has just been taught. Snacks and fellowship are provided at each meeting.
On a monthly basis or whenever appropriate opportunities arise, the teen group meets on a Saturday afternoon for informal educational activities, team forging or fellowship. Past activities have included cooking lessons with a professional cook, attendance at philharmonic concerts, visiting a publishing and printing company, etc.
We regularly organize summer camps for the month of July as well. These camps give young people an opportunity to enjoy fellowship and challenging activities in one of the many excellent youth hostels in Luxembourg as they learn to apply the teachings of the Bible while living in close proximity with one another for a week.
